The superyacht Emerald Kaia, which will set sail for the first time in April 2026 but is now available for bookings, aims to set new standards in the luxury cruise sector. Kaia can accommodate 128 passengers, will have an open marina that gives travelers direct access to the water - meaning guests can swim in the sea without having to leave the ship. Stand-up paddle boards and water scooters are also available.

Inspiring travel

Lars Langemeier

Jan Kath, known for his hand-knotted carpets, has designed his first piece of seating furniture with Daydreamer. The German designer was inspired by his travels through Persia as a child, lazing around in the summer sun. In Persian gardens, there were always cushioned divans under shady trees - the perfect place to relax.

With the Dover Street Market in London, Comme des Garçons founder Rei Kawakubo opened an unconventional fashion store ten years ago, presenting designers and brands between establishment and counterculture. The latest branch in Paris aims to rethink luxury fashion retail: So the focus isn't on selling clothes either - there'll be no fashion on display from the street, for example. Instead, Dover Street Market Paris is a space for discovery, exploration and experimentation.

Comet with tail

This year's summer house of the noble Serpentine Gallery in London's Hyde Park, the so-called Serpentine Pavilion, was designed by South Korean architect Minsuk Cho. His building with an empty inner courtyard is modeled on a traditional Korean house and has the shape of a comet with a tail. Critics regard the temporary pavilion as a highly acclaimed field of architectural experimentation.
