The Nautilus Maldives is focusing on new offerings.
16 April 2021
Adrenaline kick in the Indian Ocean: Who during its Maldives holidays not only want to explore the underwater world, but also marvel at the turquoise waters and the islands from the air, the exclusive Bohemian Hideaway The Nautilus now offers a very special experience. From now on, guests and adrenaline novices can do a skydive with an experienced guide, or alone if they are already professionally licensed skydivers.
Skydiving in paradise
Just a short yacht ride away from The Nautilus, at Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport, guests are greeted by an experienced skydiving team. After a detailed briefing and a 20-minute flight, guests jump out of the plane from a height of around 3.6 kilometres, reaching speeds of up to 200 km/h during the approximately one-minute freefall. Then the parachute opens and guests have a full five minutes of breathtaking 360-degree views of beautiful Baa Atoll before landing safely. Adventurers don their jumpsuits, put on their goggles, climb into the plane and experience one of the most awe-inspiring moments of their lives. Prices for the skydiving experience are based on options such as solo or tandem jump with or without video, as well as the individual wishes of the guest.
Absolute freedom and flexibility
The Nautilus is one of the most exclusive resorts in the world and offers its guests absolute freedom in every respect and an individually tailored service that can be found nowhere else. True to the philosophy of "A World Of Your Own Making", guests' wishes are enquired about before they arrive, so that their stay can be tailored entirely to their preferences - independent of fixed rules, with total freedom and complete flexibility. There are only 26 Houses and Residences on the island, offering exceptional space, each with a private temperature-controlled pool and extensive outdoor space. In addition, a private butler - called a "House Master" at The Nautilus - attends to guests' every need around the clock, contacting them in advance of their trip.
Extensive hygiene and safety protocols
Even during the transfer, holidaymakers have contact with only a few people: Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, all guests are picked up directly from the plane and individually escorted to the exclusive VIP lounge (Maamehi Executive Lounge) - this service is available to all guests regardless of the booked accommodation category. As staff take care of luggage - which is disinfected - and immigration formalities, guests do not have to queue with other holidaymakers. The already thorough cleaning and hygiene protocols have been further strengthened in line with public health guidelines issued by the WHO and local government authorities, and the team has received extensive training. The Nautilus offers Covid-19 PCR testing for guests and staff directly at the island resort, with results delivered within 24 hours.
