1. rent your own vineyard

The wine country of Mallorca on the Finca Es Vinyet is completely dedicated to Mallorcan wine. Owner Jens is distinguished by his love of the island and the exclusive wines that can be produced here. He himself creates the two lines "Viva la vida" and "Oro de la tierra". For this, he works together with talented young vintners of the island. Holidaymakers are given the unique opportunity to lease their own vineyard. Jen's team then takes over the cultivation of the fields and produces the wine according to the guest's taste. In selected Cuvéetier courses, travellers blend their own individual wine, take a tour on a wine boat or try a blind tasting.

2. explore Mallorca by mountain bike

Mallorca has been considered a paradise for road cyclists for over 20 years. For mountain bikers, however, the island is still largely unknown as a hot spot. BikePoint Mallorca is trying to change that and offers guests of the Finca Son Artigues and other holidaymakers everything around the bike. The founder Alex describes himself as a cycling maniac and rides passionately for the amateur team Bicicletes Caldentey. On a 25-kilometre home circuit, beginners to advanced cyclists get their money's worth. They can expect mountains up to 400 meters high, single trails and desert highways. The tours mainly take place in the Cala Millor area. Here, guests experience Mallorca like in a picture book on original routes. 

3. enjoy authentic olives

On Bernhard's picturesque Finca Son Talent near Manacor is all about olives and olive oil respectively. The emigrant offers guests gourmet cooking and gourmet hiking. The holidaymakers are either pampered by local chefs in traditional restaurants or take up the wooden spoon themselves. As a supplement always included in the service is a liter of the finest olive oil directly from the Finca. In specially developed olive seminars, holidaymakers harvest olives on the finca itself and then press their own oil. They even design the respective label of their bottle individually under the guidance of an artist.

4. harvest traditional carob

Juana Verger comes from a family that has been dedicated to the production of carob for animal use for generations. Juana, owner of the Finca Galdent Johannis, realized her dream with the project Es Garrover de Mallorca: the cultivation, processing and sale of organic Mallorcan carob for human consumption. The refined products consist purely of natural ingredients. Holidaymakers can learn more about the cultivation of different carob varieties on a guided tour near Llucmajor - tasting included. Those visiting the island in the last two weeks of August also have the opportunity to help with the harvest. 

5. immerse yourself in the rural idyll

The small wine-growing area near Santa Maria forms a true rural idyll with its vineyards and associated large estate. Here are also two charming fincas, It Moli and Es Pouet. The landlords are two brothers whose family has owned the property since 1626. They also take care of tilling the vineyards and organise wine tours. Their focus is on providing an authentic feel for Mallorca. In the in-house 'Boutique Bodega', the family produces exclusive wine. Trained sommelier Miriam is happy to show finca guests around the in-house bodega and explain the process of making wine. Wine tastings also take place at the request of holidaymakers.
