The rugged Amalfi Coast has been a popular resort since the time of the ancient Romans. With fishing villages in pastel colours, steeply rising rocks and many small beaches. Here you will find hotspots that have the potential to make your stay unforgettable.
Historical RUINS OF POMPEJI
Pompeii was a rich port city and the center of trade. Nobles liked to spend their holidays in the city. But in 62 AD, Pompeii was shattered by an earthquake. The port city was in the process of rebuilding when Mount Vesuvius, thought to be dormant, erupted in 79 AD, leaving Pompeii buried under ash and forgotten for hundreds of years. Fortunately, everyday objects, wall paintings, and even recently discovered human bodies remain. These provide a unique insight into life back then. Now visitors can explore the well-preserved ruins, such as the Capitol, the theatres, the Thermae and the Basilka .

Hike on GOD'S PATH
The Path of the Gods (SENTIERO DEGLI DEI) is one of the most beautiful walks in the Campania region with fantastic views. It offers a picturesque view of the Amalfi Coast. The hike begins in the mountain village of Agerola. Afterwards, the path splits into two directions, "Sentiero Alto" and "Sentiero Basso". It is recommended to take "Sentiero Alto", the higher path, which offers the best view of the coast and the island of Capri, for the outward journey and "Sentiero Basso" for the return journey. "Sentiero Basso" runs under an imposing rock face with seats to rest and enjoy.
