A special time out to let dreams fly: Under this motto, the Edelweiss Salzburg Mountain Resort, located in Austria's Grossarl Valley, has created an exclusive selection of experiences. An overnight stay in the 300-square-metre penthouse suite, a helicopter tour of the mountains, a fast-paced joyride in the latest Mercedes-Benz models or travel by private jet: with the Edelweiss Experiences, the Hettegger family ensures further unforgettable moments in Dreamlike setting. In addition, guests of the five-star hotel are pampered, among other things, in the 7,000-square-meter mountain spa or with the Hauben award-winning cuisine.
Exclusive privacy
As part of the new Edelweiss Experiences, the resort now offers guests overnight stays on the largest penthouse floor in Salzburger Land: the entire eighth floor of the luxury resort can now be rented exclusively. The penthouse suite covers over 300 square metres and offers space for up to 16 people in its spacious bedrooms and living rooms. Thanks to the many glass fronts, guests always enjoy a dreamlike view over the Großartal and the mountains. Highlights include a personal sauna and a private pool on the roof terrace.
Up high!
The second Edelweiss Experience takes you to even higher altitudes and over crystal-clear lakes: guests have the opportunity to discover the impressive natural landscapes around the resort from a new perspective. Thanks to the cooperation with Sennair, they can conveniently book a breathtaking helicopter flight via the hotel. The length and route of the flight can be individually selected in consultation with the pilot.
For a particularly comfortable journey, the resort now also offers a journey by private jet as part of the Edelweiss Experiences. For this, the resort cooperates with the leading private jet company in Europe, Globeair. No matter from which airport in Europe, the private jet picks up the guests and brings them to Salzburg Airport in a very relaxed way, with a boarding time of only 15 minutes and without any other passengers. From there it is either by helicopter or with the hotel's own Mercedes shuttle to the resort.
A joyride through Salzburg
The experience collection is rounded off with access to the latest Mercedes Benz models, which are available to guests for joyrides. For this, the Hettegger family has entered into a partnership with the premium car brand that is unique throughout Austria. As an exclusive partner hotel, the hotel provides its guests with two rental vehicles free of charge during their stay. For off-road driving, car fans will find a GLS 400 all year round. In summer, a C-Cabrio takes guests for a spin along the wonderful panoramic roads of the Salzburg countryside. In winter, a GLC 300e plug-in hybrid invites you to take a somewhat quieter test drive in the snow.
Guests of the resort can experience the Edelweiss Experiences as soon as the hotels are open again.
