Tyrolean hospitality & panoramic views
Upon arrival, we are warmly welcomed by the hosts, the Larcher family, and the friendly reception team. Here we immediately feel that we as guests are the focus and that everyone is concerned about our well-being. Our stay at the Alpine Resort Goies should be something very special! Special is also the panoramic view, which is offered to us at all corners and ends: A breathtaking view of the village, Laudeck Castle and of course the picturesque mountain panorama around Ladis.
Wohn(t)räume - the agony of the whale
Before we can make ourselves comfortable on our own sunny balcony, we first have to make a difficult decision: Which room or suite should be our home for the next few days? Maybe the feel-good room with pine wood furniture? The wellness suite with sauna? Or maybe even the luxurious penthouse suite "Wolke Sieben" with open fireplace and private spa with panoramic sauna and whirlpool with glass roof? Each room and suite has been furnished with great attention to detail and is something very special, so that the decision is anything but easy for us. In the end, we decide on the new chalet suite, which was designed in the modern Alpine lifestyle with natural wood flooring and living area.

No matter how comfortable the beds at Alpine Resorts Goies are - like so many guests, we are early risers on our first holiday morning. Because the mountain is calling! Thanks to the Super Summer Card, the mountain railways and the hiking shuttle in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis can be used free of charge. For example, the Sonnenbahn, which is only 80 metres from the hotel, transports guests comfortably to the neighbouring village of Fiss. Whether it's a sunrise tour with mountain breakfast, a guided hike with the host of the Alpine Resort Goies or a bike ride through the mountains and then a stop at one of the numerous alpine inns - we have found that enjoyment and exercise have never been so close together.
Which wine would you like?
Speaking of enjoyment... Back at the hotel, a 6-course menu awaits us, conjured up personally by junior chef Thomas and his team. He focuses on fresh & regional specialties, paired with innovation and excellent quality. Sommelier Viktoria recommends the right wine to go with it. In the cosy parlour we feel for the first time a slight tingling sensation and a pleasant warmth spreading through us... Could this be the famous Goies feel-good ambience?
Because it is said "after the meal you should rest..." we then make our way to the wellness area, full and satisfied. Or should we better say: the wellness areas?
All good things come in threes
Why choose one wellness area when you can have several? That's what they thought when the Alpine Resort Goies saw the light of day. Today, guests can choose between three spa areas: The Panorama Sky Spa with large event sky panorama sauna, the Alpine Spa with indoor pool and outdoor hot whirlpool and the Swiss Pine Spa with four saunas and Swiss Pine forest.
Of course, we try out all three areas. First we swim a few laps in the light-flooded indoor pool with counter-current system, then we switch to the outdoor hot whirlpool and finally we sauna our way through the various sweat lodges. The extensive range of massages and beauty treatments rounds off the wellness experience perfectly. At some point, we notice how quiet it actually is at the Alpine Resort Goies. Oh yes, that's right: the hotel is specially designed for the needs of adults and therefore only accessible from the age of 12. Wonderful, such a pleasure holiday without toddlers!
Where to next?
Feeling completely renewed, we retire back to our chalet suite and review the day, while in our minds we are already back at breakfast on the sun terrace with a magnificent panoramic view. Before we snuggle into our comfortable bed, we discuss the plan for tomorrow. How about a spin through the Tyrolean mountain landscape in the hotel's own Mercedes SLK convertible? Or with an adrenaline kick in the summer fun park Fiss?
Whatever we decide to do in the end: We're already looking forward to coming back to Alpine Resort Goies after a long day! So the Goies feel-good ambience has really cast its spell on us. This will definitely not have been our last stay here....
