Enjoyable highlights, culinary surprises and a lot of exciting activities - that's on the agenda for this year when the hotel Das Central - Alpine.Luxury.Life in Sölden calls for its annual wine festival. In 2023 an anniversary mood is also in the air. Because the highest wine event of all takes place for the 20th time. Between April 20th and 23rd, wine lovers can look forward to a very special get-together with international wine giants and top chefs - at an altitude of over 3,000 meters. Save the date!

The Best of 20 Years of Wine on the Mountain

Das Central has put together a packed program under the motto "The best of 20 years". Above all, guests can look forward to the specialties of Michael Kofler (3 toques). The kitchen luminary of Das Central will host guest chefs such as TV chef Johann Lafer and provide extraordinary moments of pleasure in front of a fantastic mountain panorama. If you prefer to philosophize with top winemakers about the world of wine or go on tour with mountain experts such as Thomas Dreßen and Frank Wörndl you'll also get your money's worth. The three-day festival has offers for all interests.

It's especially great that some familiar faces from past editions have also been invited to the 20th Wine on the Mountain event, including the renowned wineries Dr. Heger from Germany, Kellerei St. Pauls from South Tyrol and Weingut Paul Achs from Burgenland. Together with Das Central, they have been creating the three-country wine PINO 3000 since 2011.

"It's not for nothing that Wine on the Mountain is known far beyond the country's borders as a top-class gourmet and wine event. We are delighted to welcome international names from Spain and France as well as from our neighbors Germany, Italy and Switzerland again this year, in addition to a selection of our best Austrian winemakers and chefs," explains Angelika Falkner, host of the Wein am Berg event. Besides culinary highlights, parties and events such as the legendary Kitchen Party and the CharityCasino evening at the hotel, as well as the Big Bottle Party on the Giggijoch, round off the program.
