1. bangkok - the MUST of every Thailand trip
There is really a lot to see in Bangkok: Temples, skyscrapers, markets, department stores, the Royal Palace, China Town, the (former) backpacker mile Khao San Road or green spaces like the beautiful Lumphini Park. Or how about a boat trip on the Chao Phraya or a visit to Thai Boxing. It's best to avoid the city at the beginning of your holiday, as it's particularly hard to acclimatise here. At the end of the Thailand trip, a side trip to Bangkok is an absolute MUST!

3. koh tarutao - the insider tip
The island offers beautiful beaches, untouched nature, tranquility and a dense jungle. The Tarutao National Marine Park in the very south of Thailand was the first marine national park of the state at all. A true paradise for adventurers! The island is only accessible for individual travellers: In the months of November to April, boats depart daily from Pakbara (Satun Province) in the direction of Koh Lipe, which then also dock at Koh Tarutao if necessary. The journey from Koh Lipe is of course also possible the other way round.
