What happens when Orient and Occident - in this case the rich history of the Emirates and French elegance - meet? This is impressively demonstrated by the design studio Kristina Zanic Consultants with the new Sofitel in Ras Al Khaimah. Inspiration was drawn from traditions such as pearl fishing, sailing and the traditional art of pottery. The local architecture and art also play important roles. However, the travels of the nomads and French savoir-vivre are also reflected in Al Hamra Beach Resort.

Guests experience the exciting mix of styles not only in the large lobby with its luminous mural. But also in the 292 rooms and suites. Their highlights include modern furnishings and exclusive amenities. Just a few weeks after opening, the Beachfront Signature Two Bedroom Suites and the two Presidential Suites with their sophisticated details are already in high demand. Of course, all rooms are flooded with light, blessed with great views and wonderful retreats.

Hideaway on the beach

Despite its size, the first Sofitel in Ras Al Khaimah feels like an oasis of calm. Ample space allows guests to discover personal freedom.
