Preserve the house reef with the "Eco Explorer" package
Baros is blessed with an incredible natural environment: From the island's lush jungle interior to its world-class house reef. The latter plays an important role in the underwater ecosystem. This is where the resort's Eco-Explorer package comes in. This package allows guests to work with marine biologists to create exciting and educational experiences such as a coral workshop, an underwater world quiz session, a coral frame planting experience in the coral garden (with a personalized name tag and message), and the creation and planting of a coral cube in Baros Lagoon. These sustainable and eco-friendly initiatives help create an ever-expanding coral garden of broken but living corals that would otherwise not survive.

Also included in this program is a private snorkeling and fish identification session. Together with the marine biologists and equipped with underwater cameras, guests discover and understand the underwater world of Baros, its risks and what can be done to prevent them.
