QSuite Next Gen: The Future of Flying

The QSuite from Qatar Airways was already one of the most luxurious Business Class products in the world of aviation. But now the QSuite Next Gen reaches even higher spheres.

There couldn't have been a more fitting setting for the presentation of the QSuite Next Gen than the trade fair where the international aviation scene meets every year: Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, CEO of the Qatar Airways Group, was sure to amaze visitors with the update of the QSuite, which was awarded the title of "best business class product in the world".

However, the CEO wasn't the only one to present the latest development. He received help from Sama, the world's first AI Digital Human Cabin Member. In conversation with Sama, the audience learned how the award-winning airline is redefining luxury and raising the bar for Business Class experiences throughout the industry. Many improved functions, even more service, even more modern technology and a maximum of personalization options make the QSuite Next Gen even better than its predecessor.

Specifically, this means that the redesigned Quad Suite for four people is now equipped with movable 4K OLED Panasonic Astrova IFE screens. This is a first for airlines worldwide. The screens can be turned to the side to create an even larger space for up to four people. This makes meetings and productive work processes possible - also thanks to the exceptional WIFI connection. For private flyers, this means that a family, for example, can also enjoy their "shared space" high in the air.

Even more privacy

In the Quad Suite there's also more space for eating together. And culinary delights are another important feature of Qatar Airways. The higher partitions, which can be controlled digitally, create more privacy. Both, the new Quad Suite and the Companion Suites for up to two passengers, have larger sleeping areas and double beds. In the new Quad Suite, you can also use the 5-star Qatar Airways turn-down service with the special "Make my Bed" function.

The Companion Suites have similar features, but now use shared space in the window aisles for the first time. Thanks to new technologies and a wide range of customization options, the cabin experience is highly personalized for each passenger. The QSuite Next Gen will be deployed on board Qatar Airways' Boeing 777-9 aircraft by 2025.
