Pop-Up Highlight in Belgium: OKU Comes to Antwerp
OKU is heading north: For one month in November and December, the successful Japanese restaurant will open the brand's first pop-up at The Jane in Antwerp.

With its outstanding Japanese cuisine, the OKU has already made a name for itself in Ibiza, as we reported earlier this year. Now the successful restaurant is traveling from the Balearics to the north, where it will set up shop for a month. From November 17 to December 18, the OKU at The Jane will be serving Japanese and international fusion cuisine in Antwerp.

The first ever OKU pop-up
The Jane opened its doors in Antwerp in 2014 and has since become one of the best hotel in the city. The former military hospital chapel was redesigned after a complete renovation by Piet Boon and various artists. As a winter addition, the OKU will move into the upper floor at the trendy restaurant Jane's Upper Room Bar.

During the month-long residency, OKU at The Jane will welcome guests in an intimate bar setting for just 30 people. The pop-up is open Thursday through Sunday for lunch and dinner guests.
A new twist on asian food
For OKU Ibiza, Executive Chef Mark Vaessen created an inspired fusion of Asian and South American cuisine. In Antwerp, he'll pay close attention to seasonality and regionality as well. His culinary journey from Europe to Asia and South America will surely be a hit with Belgian guests, too.
