The family-run Pellicano Hotels Group has established itself as a true Italian style icon, thanks to three legendary houses that impress with timeless luxury and subtle elegance, redefining la dolce vita. But they're not stopping there: CEO and Creative Director Marie-Louise Sciò is focusing on growth and announced a strategic partnership with Aermont Capital in early August. The well-known luxury hotel and lifestyle brand plans to thereby strengthen its presence in Italy even further and become the industry leader.

Aermont Capital will help fund the expansion: in exchange for an unspecified stake in Pellicano, the European real estate group will commit to a €200 million investment to expand the Pellicano Group's portfolio by 5-7 hotels over the next few years, as The Business of Fashion reported.

Pellicano Hotels Group operates Hotel Il Pellicano, a 5-star hotel on the beach of Porto Ercole in Tuscany; La Posta Vecchia, a former residence of Roman emperors and J. Paul Getty just 30 minutes outside Rome; and the Mezzatore Hotel & Thermal Spa on Ischia.
