Unlike ordinary resorts, the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser takes guests on a journey - to distant galaxies and the front lines of intergalactic battles, aboard the Millennium Falcon and into the Sublight Lounge. Live action meets all-inclusive resort

Guests of the galactic resort choose their own adventures on board. Surrounded by costumed actors and in the real-looking spaceship scenery you show your Jedi skills in the lightsaber fight, rebel against the First Order - or travel to the outpost Black Spire on the edge of the galaxy. To do this, you jump into a transporter - these "space capsules" dock onto various backdrops in Disney's Galaxy's Edge. You never notice anything of the studio inside: each window shows changing views into space.

Tip:

You should book your stay at the War of the Stars Resort early enough - the rooms are booked out weeks in advance and become more expensive, depending on the season and demand.

Before departure

ShopDisney offers guests the opportunity to purchase exclusive Star Wars costumes (starting at €60) up to 60 days before and 30 days after their stay. Dressed up as a Jedi, Anzellan or Wookie, the experience is even more fun.

Arrival at Galactic Starcruiser Terminal

It's off to check-in and into the launch capsule that will transport travelers into space to the Star Cruiser Halcyon. This is where the adventure begins.

Aboard the Halcyon

The ship begins its journey into space - guests experience an immersive stay on board over two days, surrounded by familiar and new characters from the Star Wars universe.

In Starcruiser, you choose your own adventures, participate in various activities and explore the spaceship traveling through the galaxy (the Galaxy's Edge backdrops at Hollywood Studios). Stops like Smugglers Run include missions, roller coaster rides and live action theater.

Dining at Crown of Corellia & Drinks at Sublight Lounge

The Crown of Corellia fine dining restaurant pays homage to the planet. Breakfast, lunch and a multi-course dinner inspired by earthly and galactic flavors are served. For evening drinks, meet up with shady characters in the hip Sublight Lounge.

A night in the stars: Starcruiser accommodations

May the night be with you: The focus at Star Cruiser Resort is on an intimate, authentic space experience for about 100 guests. The rooms therefore resemble real spaceship cabins, while the three suites - Galxay Class, Grand Captain and Captain's Table - offer a more upscale standard.

So for the time being, you'll have to do without the usual amenities - pool, spa and outdoor activities - at Galactic Starcruiser Resort. After all, tennis courts or Thalasso spas are simply out of place in space.
