Mountain Longevity on the Golden Energy Mountain: The Hotel Goldener Berg presents a new program

With its new self-care rooms and the Longevity program for holistic well-being, the Hotel Goldener Berg is a unique retreat for body and soul.

October 25, 2024

On 4 October 2024, the Hotel Goldener Berg am Arlberg celebrated a special premiere: the grand opening of its new self-care facilities and the innovative "Holistic Selfcare - Longevity am Goldenen Energieberg" program. Against the impressive mountain backdrop of Oberlech, the event not only offered an insight into the newly designed wellness areas, but also an introduction to a holistic concept for promoting health and longevity. After all, hotelier Daniela Pfefferkorn is an expert in this field: "Those of us living in the western world have to do a lot to ensure that we reach old age in good health. We are holistic beings and as such consist of soul, mind (ego) and body." Her new program knows how to combine this tried and tested wisdom in a relaxing way.

The power of the elements and self-healing

With around 60 invited guests - including hotel visitors and locals from the Lech region - the evening began with a tour of the new facilities. These include relaxation, yoga and meditation rooms, various saunas and an infinity pool with breathtaking panoramic views of the Arlberg Alps. Everything is designed to create an atmosphere of relaxation and regeneration.

The highlight of the inauguration was the fire ceremony, which began at 6:15 pm. Under the direction of Sandra Barbara, who created an artistic mandala in a fire bowl, a ritual invocation of the elements took place. Guests were invited to place their personal wishes and thoughts into the fire - a symbolic act of healing and transformation. The ceremony touched many of those present deeply and provided an emotional climax to the evening.

Room for growth and longevity

With the opening of these new self-care facilities, the Goldener Berg has become a retreat for body and mind. The focus is on the new Longevity program, which is based on a holistic approach to promoting health, well-being and longevity. In the so-called er-LEBENS rooms - the dining room, reading room and living room - guests were able to enjoy exciting talks and discussions with the hotel's experts.

The Longevity program includes innovative approaches such as "Cell-Re-Active Training" and consciousness coaching. This is supported by spiritual practices such as mantras and meditation exercises that help guests to harmonize body and mind. The goal: more vitality, mental strength and a longer, healthier life.

Culinary delights of a special kind

The Goldener Berg also shone in culinary terms at the opening ceremony. Guests were treated to delicacies from plant-based Alpine cuisine, which impressed with its creative combination of regional ingredients and modern, plant-based recipes. The healthy dishes rounded off the feel-good experience perfectly and invited guests to end the evening in a warm atmosphere and relaxed conversation.

A new chapter for the Goldener Berg

With the opening of the new self-care rooms and the Longevity program, the Hotel Goldener Berg is opening a new chapter in its history and strengthening its position as a place where guests can relax, recharge their batteries and take intensive care of their physical and mental well-being. To the regular retreats such as alpine detox and yoga, this fall there is also a Own program which includes family constellations and a Vision & Purpose Retreat.
