From old to new
Built in the 1970s in the chic A-Frame look, the Minne entices as a renovated Week(-end)-Getaway to the Devil Track Lake. Designer Melissa Coleman and her husband Kevin teamed up to implement the redesign with Taiga Design+Build from the Grand Marais. What will please lovers of the 70s: A full 90 percent of the original building has been preserved.

The old cedar - except for the original paneling with red cedar inside - was replaced with the sturdy, sustainable Kebony-wood from Norway. Also, you now have a particularly safe roof over your head, because this was replaced by Taiga and equipped with heat- and energy-efficient panels. In addition, the cabin was supplemented by a spacious terrace area, from where you can reach the peaceful lakeshore within a few steps. However, it is highly unlikely that you will want to leave the cozy atmosphere of the Stuga House so quickly.
Minneso-tired: Sleeping in Minne Stuga
Melissa Coleman's Cabin is a great place to sleep as a couple, but also with the family. Apart from the comfortable bedroom in natural earth tones and forest green, the cabin also has its own children's room with a four-person bunk bed.
