Respectful design

Costa Navarino is located in the southwest of the Peloponnese in the Mediterranean Sea. It has established itself as a sustainable destination in Greece. Therefore, it's not surprising that any new hotel here must meet the region's strict standards. In the case of the Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino, that went effortlessly. That's because sustainability is also embedded in the ethos of the company's philosophy. This includes planting 2,700 olive trees and over 500,000 native shrubs. The interior design echoes the natural beauty of the region.

Earthy primary colors, unobtrusive splashes of color and atmospheric accents enter into a harmonious symbiosis with the typical Greek design of the 19th century. The surrounding historic sites served as inspiration for motifs and wood carvings. The earth-roofed villas blend seamlessly into the terrain. Regional materials were used for the building. And, of course, no disposable plastic is used throughout the resort. 99 suites and earth-covered villas with private pools and spacious terraces are available.

Greek and international

When it comes to the dining concept, guests can also look forward to something authentic. On the one hand a total of five restaurants and bars celebrate local culture. And on the other hand, they also let flavors from international cuisine explode on the palate. Local ingredients are used where possible. The focus lies on the highest quality and pampering moments for guests - these are the goals of chef Bertrand Valegas and his team.

Things get Far Eastern at the spa. The exclusive retreat is the right address for those who long for the traditional rituals of the Mandarin Oriental Group. You can relax in private treatment rooms, enjoy heat and water experiences, and swim in the pool toward the sunset. If you wish to participate in yoga, tennis and other exercise programs, you can do so at any time. In addition, the resort is located directly on the 18-hole bay course. There are three other golf courses in the immediate vicinity.

Year-round destination

On the Costa Navarino the vacation mood is always on. This is ensured by the wide range of outdoor activities. Among other things, you can experience the beautiful landscape while hiking and cycling. But guests also like to come to this part of the Peloponnese for climbing, tennis and water sports activities. Just recently, a new Watersports Hub opened. Experienced water sports fans and beginners can choose from a variety of activities on and in the water.

The open and lively marketplace scores with numerous stores, restaurants, traditional street food, an open-air cinema and a varied program of events.
