Just in time for the European Championships, which Germany is hosting, the property now welcomes international travelers as well as Munich residents.

Timeless sophistication
The Koenigshof impresses with both its architecture and its inner values. It was designed by none other than the Spanish star architect Nieto Sobejano, who won the architectural competition initiated by the city with a design that perfectly blends Munich's cosmopolitan attitude with contemporary design. "The idea was not simply to open another luxury hotel in Munich, but also to convey the Munich attitude alongside international spirit, explains Michael Wagner, COO of MHP Hotel AG.

The independent German hotel investment and management platform is based in the city and has been a successful franchisee of large hotel groups in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for many years. Their first independent hotel opened in 2021: The MOONS Vienna . Their experience in the hotel industry is therefore beyond doubt. As are their passion for the city, its residents and visitors.
Cheerful and relaxed – yet luxurious
The concept devised by Nieto Sobjeano Architects and Landau + Kindelbacher pays tribute to the heritage of the building. At the same time, however, it is not taken too seriously; a certain feeling of cheerfulness and lightness – summarized as "serenity" – has been allowed to percolate. This is how guests are greeted when they arrive in the spacious atrium. Gold-colored walls and slatted structures connect the indoor and outdoor areas.

In order to emphasize Bavaria's historical connection with art and art collecting, the hotel is leading by example: Internationally renowned artists such as Joseph Beuys, Christo, Jeanne-Claude and David John Flynn are just some of the big names that are prominently placed in this Luxury Collection Hotel in Germany. Their work complements the architecture and design of the hotel.
Tranquility and Delectable Treats
The 106 rooms and suites combine warm contrasts with a sophisticated combination of curated works of art and elegant textiles. Of course, the latest amenities are also available. Warmth, character and serenity – the essence of the Munich lifestyle – are palpable. If you are in the mood for a special experience, rent the Presidential Suite. At 250 square meters, it is the largest of its kind and has a private spa and its own pool.
