When the iconic French fashion label Louis Vuitton stops by Lake Como, a special location is paramount for the high-end pop-up, so the house decided to set up shop at the legendary Villa d'Este.

When legends collide

Villa d'Este is more than just a hotel – it's a destination. And a historic one at that. The former summer residence of the Cardinal of Como has been a hotel since 1873. Today it's a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, located directly on the shore of the lake, and offers 152 luxurious rooms and suites as well as four private villas. The extensive park with its famous nymphaeum is as famous as the pool floating on the lake.

Inspired by this magical setting, Louis Vuitton – which celebrated its 200th birthday last year – created a special atmosphere for shopping. Customers at the specially designed store embark on an imaginary boat trip: the color concept is dominated by blue, with white display windows providing exciting contrasts. Teak floors and chrome steel elements complete the yacht-like ambience.

The shelves and mannequins feature the latest women's and men's collections designed by Nicolas Ghesquière and Virgil Abloh. Accessories, perfumes, shoes and bags complete the offer at the Louis Vuitton pop-up store on Lake Como. The trendy "Capucines" bags are also available on site in a variety of trendy colors. The beautiful pieces from the current summer collection "Stardust" are hard to pass up anyway ...
