Leiwand! - New style hotel opened at the Prater
The "Superbude" is different from other hotels. The innovative hotel & hostel invites you to arrive and chill in the green Prater in Vienna.
8 July 2021
The masterminds behind the "Superbude" are now opening a location on the Prater in Vienna-Leopoldstadt after several successful hotels in Hamburg. Here, too, the unique hotel philosophy will be continued: The Hotel & Hostel does not see itself as a formal standard hotel. Here, space is created for encounters and guests immediately feel this special feel-good vibe upon arrival.
The stalls
A total of 178 so-called "booths", i.e. hotel rooms, are open to visitors to Vienna and also original Viennese, divided into 17 categories. From the premium double room, which resembles a normal double room, to "glamping", where you sleep like in a four-poster bed, there is something here for all tastes and budgets. The "Cubes" are also exciting. These are comfortable large wooden buildings in which nothing stands in the way of a restful night's sleep. The rooms were furnished entirely in cooperation with local partners, for example the renowned Atelier Karasinski. This ensures the right balance between the cosy basic idea of the house and a certain portion of chic.
To do & see
Located in Vienna's second district, within walking distance of the Prater, Superbude has chosen a central location surrounded by quaint Viennese coffee houses, amusement park attractions and hotspots like the Ferris wheel. Leopoldstadt has been an increasingly popular district for some time now, where there is always something happening.
To discover the Austrian capital, it's best to start with a hearty breakfast at the Hotel & Hostel. A hot tip is to order the "egg in a glass", a Viennese classic that is reinterpreted here. Late risers are also catered for: breakfast dishes are offered all-day long. A few floors above, you will also find the NENI at the Prater , recently named as a top restaurant and should not be missed. Resourceful restaurateur Haya Molcho, who serves traditional Israeli cuisine with a modern twist, has thus created another must-see location. Guests of Superbude dine there from early to late, or go to the bar for a drink at a later hour.
A special vibe
Whether urban hipsters, stressed business people on their way to a meeting or families who treat themselves to a relaxing holiday: the Superbude is open to everyone. It combines the demands of a comfortable hotel stay with a feeling of being at home. If you want to exchange ideas, the staff of the house are always ready with an open ear. This makes the new top address special - and fits in perfectly with the typical Viennese Grätzl image.
