September 3, 2021
Those who go on holiday in other countries like to try the regional specialitiesthat foreign cultures bring with them. But now you no longer have to fly overseas! Because the Kempinski Hotel Das Tirol has a special new offer for all those who want to immerse themselves in the Far East! And yet guests do not have to do without the famous hearty snack, Gröstl and Kaiserschmarrn.
Regional meets Far Eastern
The culinary highlights at the 5-star superior hotel in the Kitzbühel Alps are the responsibility of none other than chef Veronika Späth. She combines regional and Far Eastern specialities with the best ingredients of the region. The culinary journey begins with an extensive breakfast in the Steinberg restaurant: varied, rich and perfect for every taste.
For dinner, from Friday to Sunday the restaurant spoils you with young Tyrolean cuisine that incorporates modern and Mediterranean influences. From Monday to Thursday, the pan-Asian restaurant Sra Bua takes you to the Far East. The journey of endulgence begins with a delicious cocktail such as the Yuzu Spritz.
From "Izakaya Style" to "Smoky Friday"...
After that, it's time to share, because at Sra Bua they eat "Izakaya Style": As is common in many Asian countries, several dishes are ordered, from which guests can choose to help themselves. The Aisa trip includes the Special Bowl of the Day or Bao Bun (lamb stew), sea bass, prawns and beef fillet.
Every Friday, the hotel celebrates "Smoky Friday", with the art of grilling on the sun terrace of the hotel - with the best meat, fish and vegetables - including the breathtaking mountain panorama! And fancy ice cream creations from MISSSI Eis top it off. By the way, not only hotel guests may embark on this culinary journey...
