Centrally located in Munich's old town, the Rosewood Munich is currently being completed as the newest home of the world-renowned luxury collection. Their first location in Germany more than lives up to its motto of "A Sense of Place:" Housed in two listed buildings - the former headquarters of the Bavarian State Bank and the adjacent Palais Neuhaus-Preysing - it will offer modern comfort in a historic backdrop starting from September 29, 2023. With great attention to detail, more than 73 spacious rooms and 59 suites have been furnished, including five special houses with exclusive features and offers. Gastronomic highlights are provided by the Brasserie Cuvilliés and the Bar Montez, while the Asaya Spa offers a holistic approach to wellness.

Munich-based architecture firm Hilmer Sattler worked closely with London's Tara Bernerd & Partners to bring the Rosewood touch to Bavaria, combining historical elegance with contemporary luxury: The two buildings and the courtyard were carefully restored, preserving the facades as well as the staircase and lobby with its frescoes. The gray marble and wooden elements were contrasted with velvet, tweed and leather to create a coherent, luxurious overall look.

The Rosewood Munich's Asaya Spa invites you to decompress with traditional relaxation methods, spa treatments and therapies. Situated on two floors and 1,300 square meters, their amenities include an indoor pool, two saunas, a steam room, six treatment rooms, a fitness room with Technogym equipment, and a wellness suite for private spa experiences. Offers are available for external guests and spa members.

Brasserie Cuvilliés serves classic Alpine cuisine from Bavaria, Austria and Italy with a modern twist seven days a week, focusing squarely on seasonal produce sourced from local suppliers. The well-stocked Bar Montez impresses with a curated selection of masterful cocktails, quality wines and spirits, and also offers a varied program of live performances. With over 600 square meters of indoor space, Rosewood Munich can provide space for any event, including a contemporary ballroom (234 m²), a historic ballroom (123 m²) and four all-purpose meeting rooms. The Winter Garden and the Palais Courtyard are also available as additional venues for meetings and culinary experiences.
