Is This London's New Most Luxurious Accommodation?
Starting February Brown's Hotel London has been accommodating guests in their art filled luxurious suite, designed by none other than Paul Smith.

Unique vintage pieces, hand-picked works of art and custom-made interiors: Brown's Hotel recently opened its luxuriously chic "Sir Paul Smith Suite," which was furnished with the noble interior pieces from the first Paul Smith Collection. The suite was designed by the fashion designer and entrepreneur himself. The initiator of the partnership and co-designer of the new suite is Olga Polizzi, sister of Sir Rocco Forte.

A space for art
It was not without reason that Olga Polizzi commissioned the British fashion designer Paul Smith to redesign one of the exclusive suites of the five-star hotel in London: after all, he is considered to be Britain's most successful designer. His source of inspiration was the past of Brown's Hotel, which once served as a meeting place for great literary figures. The aim of his redesign was to create a space dedicated entirely to creative existence.

Some of the pieces he used to redesign the suite came from Smith's personal collection and were previously on display in the designer's office: A photograph by Christopher Simon Sykes, for example, or a leather office chair by Mario Bellini from the 1970s. The Briton has also integrated several art and design books into the room concept.
"[The suite] is elegant, bright and inviting, reflecting a harmonious flair. [...] Paul has skillfully captured the atmosphere of Brown's and effortlessly combined it with his own personal touch," says Olga Polizzi.
Designer hearts will certainly beat faster in the "Sir Paul Smith Suite," because in addition to limited-edition prints by photographer Julian Broad and pieces from various Paul Smith collections, the luxurious accommodation also features furniture from various collab collections. These include design pieces from the current "Everyday Life" with "DePadova" or the British lighting brand "Anglepoise" as well as checkered wool blankets that the designer created for "Maharam".
