Even the journey to the resort is an extremely pleasant affair. Although you can live the absolute island dream on site with plenty of privacy and tranquillity, it's just 30 minutes by speedboat to Malé International Airport. There's hardly a quicker way to reach the finest powdered sugar beach and enjoy barefoot luxury. Nothing has changed. What is new, however, is the design philosophy. The highlights of the renovation include the two new Two-Bedroom Ocean Pavilions. They are each 350 square meters in size. From inside, you can enjoy wonderful views, dominated by the infinity pool. It seems to flow directly into the sea and merge with the horizon. The natural beauty of the island plays a major role. The Huvafen Fushi renovation has given it an appropriate setting.
Nature as a design philosophy
The surrounding area sets the tone for the architecture of the 46 villas and bungalows. With their minimalist, modern aesthetic, they harmonize with the natural surroundings. Lots of wooden elements, stylish design with warm, muted natural tones and shades of turquoise blue, brown and cream create a feel-good atmosphere. Innovative materials and matt surfaces give the interiors a contemporary touch. Fluid transitions between the indoor and outdoor areas create the impression of boundless spaces.

Effortless luxury
Even before the Huvafen Fushi renovation, the resort was known for its excellent service quality. Of course, this won't change, running through all areas and activities on the dream island. The personal butler service is also available 24/7. The Huvafen Spa is still the only underwater spa in the world. While you indulge yourself in the SpaQuarium, the fish pass by peacefully outside. Top tip: You should visit at night, when the corals glow thanks to bioluminescence.

The Vinum is also located below the surface. However, not underwater but underground. The wine cellar is eight meters deep underground and holds 5,000 exquisite wines. If you fancy something special, you can treat yourself to tasting menus and exclusive dinners under a floating art installation.
