An almost 300 year old Palladian mansion has been turned into a stylish vacation retreat: The Cashel Palace. The 5-star hotel embodies Irish hospitality at its best.

The listed mansion was built 290 years ago, in 1732, and served as the former country house of an archbishop. Since the 1960s, it has been open to guests from all over the world as a hotel. In 2022, after careful renovation work in the interior, it now proudly presents itself as a luxurious 5-star hotel and Relais & Châteaux. Outside, it continues to impress as a beautiful historical building.

Great things are expected from an Irish manor house - the new hotel in the heart of Ireland knows how to meet the demands of its guests. The 33 rooms and 9 suites are as spacious as they are bright. Warm earth tones dominate in the house, natural materials are complemented by elegant color accents. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients straight from the surrounding county, Chef Stephen Hayes creates authentic Irish dishes at The Bishop's Buttery. The stylish Mikey Ryan's, a favorite among locals, is more casual.
Experience afternoon tea like never before: the 19th-century tradition is no longer reserved for high society. At the new hotel in Tipperary, afternoon tea is served in the Queen Anne Room. Here, loose leaf tea, served in fine china, and decadent pastries can be enjoyed.

The fact that people trot and gallop around the centuries-old manor house is nothing new, by the way. The Magnier family has always practiced with its horses. Coolmore stud farm not far from the hotel in horse breeding and thoroughbred racing. So here you can look behind the scenes of the jockeys and pay a visit to the stud of the animals. One or the other race should not be missed under any circumstances.
