The hotel has been perched above the railway station for 115 years. It has thus become an unmistakable part of the St. Moritz townscape. Guests have always appreciated the location and the unique panoramic views, among other things, of Lake St. Moritz. Conversion work began in 2016 and is now entering its final phase. After an investment of almost 60 million euros, the historic Art Nouveau building shines in new splendour. A modern extension offers additional rooms and a spacious spa area.

Elegance for the icon

Grace La Margna St Moritz is the first hotel of the new Grace Hotels brand. The name alone indicates what is part of the brand philosophy: exclusive style, elegance, grace, delicacy and lightness. Coupled with unique service, the brand embodies everything that discerning travelers expect. The hotel is divided into the historic La Margna Wing and the modern Grace Wing. In total, guests can choose from 74 spacious rooms and suites. Designed in 1906 by renowned St. Moritz architect Nicolaus Hartmann, the building retains its distinctive columns and engravings, as well as many original Art Nouveau building and decorative elements. The addition by London-based Divercity Architects and Blarer & Reber Architekten from Samedan manages the balancing act between old and new - symbolically and architecturally.

Culinary Pop-Up to Fine Dining

The revitalised hotel also offers a sophisticated culinary concept. For example, the bar in the listed lobby lounge will become the new hotspot in St. Moritz. National and international guests meet the local crowd. Classic cocktails and innovative drinks are the order of the day. In addition to various restaurants catering to all dietary tastes, a culinary pop-up, cafés and terraces are available. Choices range from fine dining to restaurants with show kitchens and pizza ovens.

Relax - any time of the year

The hotel, which is open all year round, will offer its guests a luxurious spa with a 20-metre pool, several saunas and various treatment areas. Those seeking peace and quiet have wonderful views of the surrounding mountain panorama. They also relax in a hammam and a private spa suite. If the diverse adventures in the surrounding nature are not enough of a challenge, guests can also work out in the fitness area. Grace La Margna St Moritz aims to be the first Luxury Lifestyle & Boutique Hotel in the resort. And from the looks of it now, it's well on its way.
