Redesign of an icon

Once designed by Warren & Wetmore, the building was once one of the most prestigious office and retail addresses in New York. Now it has undergone a comprehensive renovation. The original architectural splendor now offers a place of peace and tranquility, thanks to the harmonious AMAN design language. The AMAN New York is named after the AMAN Tokyo , the second Urban Escape of the luxury hotel brand. It welcomes guests on the 14th floor with an expansive atrium. Michel Gathy's stunning interior design continues in the suites. They are among the largest in the city. Fireplaces with crackling fires, large windows, opulent bathrooms and natural materials are reminiscent of the AMAN houses in Asia.

11 Grand Suites and two 185-square-foot AMAN Suites are great for those who crave even more space. The latter also score with views of Fifth Avenue, living and dining areas, kitchenettes and seating areas. Those who would like to own a piece of AMAN can purchase one of the 22 residences - including a five-story penthouse. Of course, the new AMAN is also impressive in culinary terms. The New York branch will also include the convivial Italian restaurant "Arva" and a "Nama". The latter is dedicated to Japanese culinary tradition. One of the many special features is the outdoor area. On a 650-square-meter terrace, guests can have fun in the pool (with a view of the greenery!) or enjoy their cocktails in the open air. An exclusive jazz club, where live performances by world-class musicians are scheduled, complements the entertainment offerings.
