From January 24 to 26, 2025, the frozen Lake St. Moritz will once again be transformed into a stage for the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz - this time to celebrate its 40th anniversary. This extraordinary tournament not only attracts the best polo players in the world, but also 25,000 enthusiastic spectators from all over the world to the picturesque Engadine. Set in a breathtaking Alpine landscape, the event is a unique blend of tradition, excitement and elegance.

The Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz combines top athletic performance with traditional Swiss culture and sophisticated charm—now celebrating its 40th edition! Polo action at the highest level
As the world’s only high-goal polo tournament on snow, the Snow Polo World Cup combines top-tier athleticism with a glamorous atmosphere. The frozen lake, with over 40 cm (16 inches) of thick ice, provides ideal conditions for players and ponies, specially equipped for the snow-covered arena. Fans who can’t attend in person can still catch all the thrilling matches live on pololine.tv.

Record sales and exclusive experiences
For the first time in the history of the tournament, VIP tickets for Saturday and Sunday as well as the gala in the legendary Badrutt's Palace already sold out. If you would like to experience the event up close, you can still Tickets for Friday. A highlight are the Perrier-Jouët Chukker Club Ticketswhich offer an exclusive view of the action with champagne, canapés and a seat and blanket in the stands.

Culture meets sport: a top-class supporting program
In addition to the polo matches, the anniversary weekend offers plenty of cultural and sporting highlights, such as:
- Schlitteda parade (Saturday, 1:30pm): This traditional parade, in which horse-drawn sleighs and dancers parade through the Polo Village, brings Engadin culture to life.
- Chalandamarz parade (Sunday, 1:30pm): Children from Graubünden symbolically drive out the winter with cowbells, whip cracking and singing - an ancient custom that brings color and energy to the village.
- Cross-Country World Cup (Sunday): World-class cross-country skiers will start on the Snow Polo Grounds for the 20 km freestyle races for men (12:30 pm) and women (3:00 pm).
