With "No Time to Die", the long-awaited 25th action film about the British secret agent on a mission for His Majesty is finally coming to cinemas. This will once again demand a lot of local flexibility from 007. After all, he must leave his retirement in Jamaica and once again jet around the world to hunt down criminals. The Bond universe is famous for its many spectacular outdoor locations. But iconic hotels have also found their way onto the big screen thanks to him. Here are 10 James Bond hotels that are worth a visit.
Grandhotel Pupp, Czech Republic: Casino Royal
The noble grand hotel with its chandeliers, wood panelling and marble bathrooms hosted James Bond, then embodied by Daniel Craig, in "Casino Royale" in 2006. In addition to the restaurant, the lobby is also featured in the film. Here he meets Bond girl Eva.

The luxurious house with only 79 rooms on the Guidecca is itself a small legend. The big names in the industry regularly stay here.

Hotel Atlantic Kempinski, Germany: "The morning never dies".

Located on Hamburg's Outer Alster, the hotel has been a popular home away from home for numerous notable guests for over 100 years. Even the agent with the license to kill got lost here. More precisely: Pierce Brosnan in "The Morning Never Dies" (1997). Quite unseemly, he climbs the globe that adorns the entrance of the venerable house during a chase scene.

The Mexican Gran Hotel with its imposing roof of Tiffany glass is a kind of landmark in itself. The ambience: noble, pompous. Gold-framed mirrors, deep upholstered furniture and floral patterns exude opulence. No wonder Bond appeared in this hotel twice. The first time was in "The License to Kill" in 1989, starring Timothy Dalton, and the second time was in "Spectre", when Bond-Craig enjoys himself here with a woman.

British Colonial Hilton Nassau Hotel, Bahamas: "Never Say Never"

A lot has changed since Bond girl Barbara Carrera falls for James Bond (Sean Connery) in the hotel's Pavilion Bar in "Never Say Never" in 1983. Some things, however, have remained the same. For example, the hotel still features mosaics in the lobby and restaurant. The rooms and suites are modern, colonial in style, and dominated by muted colors. The location? Wonderful: directly on the private sandy beach of Nassau.
