Costa Navarino is located in the southwest of the Peloponnese, directly on the Mediterranean Sea. During its development as a tourist destination, particular emphasis was placed on sustainability. A principle that is also deeply anchored in the DNA of Mandarin Oriental. It's therefore no coincidence that the first Mandarin Oriental in Greece opened here of all places.

Hellas inside and outside

Every new hotel that opens on the Costa Navarino must meet the strict specifications of the region. A circumstance that was not difficult for the Mandarin Oriental. For example, they planted 2,700 olive trees and over 50,000 native shrubs. In addition, they combined fair elements with the modern luxury for which the brand is known worldwide.

The construction company TEMES and a design team were in charge. The latter consisted of Tombazis & Associates Architects and K-Studio. Creativity, craftsmanship and knowledge come together. The result is a resort where panoramic views can be enjoyed from each of the 99 light-filled suites and earth-covered villas (complete with spacious terraces and private pools).

The design follows bioclimatic guidelines. Materials from the region were used. The rich cultural heritage of the region and local agricultural traditions also found their place in the design. The rooms and suites score with generosity and soft tones. The resort is surrounded by an 18-hole golf course. It's just a few steps to the recently opened Navarino Agora. The lively marketplace scores with boutiques, restaurants, open-air cinema, and event programming.

Pleasure at all levels

In addition to rooms, suites and a golf course, the Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino also has five different restaurants and bars. Chef Bertrand Valegea guarantees their excellence. The gastronomic offer is varied, ranging from homage to local culture to delicacies from Levantine cuisine with ingredients from local farms. But because good food is only one piece of the puzzle, the rest of the physical well-being is taken care of in the spa.
