Tradition and modernity
Cascais is a small coastal town about an hour west of Lisbon, which enchants mainly by its mondaine lifestyle . In addition, there are bays with idyllic sandy beaches and a very pretty old town. In the Artsy Cascais the tradition and history of the municipality unite with modernity now. This is already visible in the architecture of the building.

Because part of the hotel is located in a magnificently restored palace from the 19th century. But also part of the ensemble is a modern building, whose facade was designed by the renowned Portuguese artist Vhils. He is often referred to as the Portuguese answer to Bansky. Thanks to the location of the new hotel, there are great views of the Bay of Cascais from all rooms and suites.
Inner values
The new boutique hotel operates under the motto Where Art meets History. Apart from the artistically designed exterior façade, there's also much to discover inside. For example, architect Marta Carreira designed an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. Elements reminiscent of the sea and sand decorate the rooms. Elegant and simple materials provide clean chic. Carreira brings the feeling of the region - also called the Portuguese Riviera - to Artsy Cascais.

Numerous works of art by local and international artists turn the small hotel into a large gallery. Guests can admire graffiti by London urban artist Fipsi Seilern or stand in the light of Gwendolyn and Guillane Kerschbaumer's light installations from Atelier Areti. Another standout spot in the hotel is the lobby, adorned with works by Alice Morey, Daniel Lergon, João Gabriel and João Vasco Paiva.
Living at Artsy Cascais
Guests choose from 19 individually designed rooms. These are modern, furnished with high-quality materials and, of course, decorated with works of art. Among them are photographs by Miguel Velasco. The suites enjoy views of the bay and parks of Cascais. In the bathrooms, eco-friendly amenities by Oliófora are impressive. The hotel's signature fragrance was created by Lourenço Lucena.
