The Asian luxury hotel group Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spa has been expanding in Europe for some time now. After the opening of its hotels in Portugal and Spain, the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel now follows. It is the first Anantara in Italy, but in total, the brand grows to more than 40 hotels. Until now, it was mainly known from the Asian and African regions. But the Roman branch will not be inferior to its sister hotels by any means.

Reside not far from the Vatican

This starts with the unique location of the hotel. The monumental building from the late 19th century is enthroned in the Piazza della Repubblica. In the shape of a crescent, the monumental building embraces the historic ground of the ancient Baths of Diocletian. The Fontana della Naiadi fountain in front of the imposing building is a reminder of them.

The magnificent hotel houses 238 elegant double rooms, one of the largest rooftop terraces in Rome, five restaurants and bars, function rooms and a spa. Highlights among the rooms are the eleven maisonette suites. They score with fantastic views of the piazza and the fountain. Three executive suites offer even more space. Here, guests can relax in their own whirlpool, in the steam bath or on the terrace. The two Presidential Suites also feature a kitchen and living room with dining area. The noble fabrics, handmade furniture and elegant ambience serve as a unifying element across all accommodation categories.

Of course, Anantara in Italy welcomes the best of both worlds. This is especially visible and tasty on the plates. The Thai roots of the hotel brand meet the Italian influences of the city. Chef Niko Sinisgalli and his team compose wonderful symphonies of taste from this, accompanying guests from the sumptuous breakfast overlooking the piazza to dinner at Ristorante Tazio. At the very top, Posh Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge Bar, guests dine with views of Rome's skyline.

Cultural discoveries

The Anantara Naiadi Rome Hotel's prime location makes it well-suited for sightseeing adventures right outside the hotel door. Between the Vatican and the hip artist neighbourhoods of Monti, Trastevere and Campo dei Fiori, tailor-made experiences await guests.
