For those who associate hut dining with simple spaghetti Bolognese or sweet dumplings, Alta Badia offers a pleasant surprise. The “A Taste for Skiing” initiative returns this winter, inviting guests to explore high culinary craftsmanship. Unforgettable events for connoisseurs

In addition to the gourmet ski safari, Alta Badia offers the "SunRisaBreakfast on the slopes" on December 23 and the "Wine Ski Safari" on March 23, where wine lovers can taste regional wines. Skiers can enjoy the tranquillity of the early morning or taste exclusive wines at mountain huts at an altitude of around 2100 meters. Other highlights such as the "Sommelier on the slopes" and the "Roda dles SausThe "Innkeeper on the Ice" event allows visitors to experience Ladin cuisine and culture in a special way. One of the culinary highlights in the valley is the "Innkeeper on the Ice" on January 30 at the frozen Lake Sompunt, where South Tyrolean specialties are served on ice skates. With a bit of luck, the Enrosadira will put the icing on the cake - that's what the locals call this amazing natural spectacle, during which the mountains glow in red, orange and pink light in the evening.

A sustainable pleasure vacation in Alta Badia

Alta Badia not only impresses with its exclusive cuisine, but also with its sustainable tourism. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site and GSTC-certified region, nature conservation is a top priority here. With 130 kilometers of slopes and numerous culinary offerings at the highest level, Alta Badia offers a winter sports experience that is also a tribute to nature and South Tyrolean hospitality. In addition to delicious moments, "Skiing with pleasure" is also about solidarity: part of the turnover generated by the gourmet hut meals is donated to the charitable initiative "La Miglior Vita Possibile", which is committed to pediatric palliative care. Last year, more than 18,000 euros were raised for this extremely important cause.
