WHY BOOK?

There are several chalet villages in Salzburg, but the special feature of the Woodridge Luxury Chalets is their construction. As is typical for Canada, the individual chalets are made of solid wood trunks up to eight metres high. They offer a lot of privacy and are located at the entrance to a huge hiking area in summer. And in winter, almost directly on the ski slope.

Location & neighborhood

The magnificent Salzburg mountains surround the chalet village. It is about a 45-minute drive from the city of Salzburg. The nearest village, the tranquil Werfenweng, is just a 20-minute walk away. Here you will find a small supermarket as well as several restaurants and bars. In the immediate vicinity are mainly cow pastures, hiking trails, ski slopes and small farms. Those in search of peace and quiet will find it in the Woodridge Luxury Chalets.

The chalets

The luxury chalet village consists of a total of 12 Canadian log cabins. These are made of solid pine logs. This results in room heights of up to eight meters. Because the wood still "breathes," that wonderful pine smell permeates each chalet. The chalets are available in different sizes. "Little Beaver", for example, offers 50 square meters of space for two adults, "Silver Wolf" covers 70 square meters. Families are right in the "Black Bear" chalets, while larger groups are best to book "Wild Moose". There is room for ten adults here.

All chalets are equipped with high quality leather furniture, a crackling fireplace, a private sauna and a private jacuzzi. The room concept is open in most of the chalets. Additional storage rooms for mountain bikes and skis will make the hearts of outdoor enthusiasts beat faster. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area in each chalet. Some have a balcony.

Food & Drinks

If you like to cook for yourself on holiday, you can use the kitchen in the chalet. Grocery shopping can be done nearby, in Werfenweng. If you wish, breakfast can be delivered directly to the chalet door in a pretty basket. Simply order the desired pastries and ingredients via app the day before - done. The same applies to dinner. On certain days of the week, guests can choose from specialities such as fondue or ribs. In summer, a communal barbecue is available. The chalets are equipped with Nespresso machines.

Wellness & Fitness

Relaxation according to your own wishes: on request, the massage comes directly to the chalet. All you need to do is book the desired appointment via the hotel's own app or at reception. In addition to facial massages, full body treatments and foot reflexology massages are also available. Each chalet has its own private sauna and whirlpool. The surrounding nature serves as a gym for fitness enthusiasts. Almost endless hiking trails, ski slopes, mountain bike trails and running routes are right outside the front door. Each chalet also has its own toboggan.

Service & Amenities

The people at the reception of the Woodridge Luxury Chalets are not only always available for a nice chat, but also a valuable source for excursion tips and hiking maps. For environmental reasons they do without intermediate cleaning and daily towel change, on request both are of course available. The app - the link to which is provided with the booking confirmation - is a helpful tool for communicating with the reception. It also provides many tips and functions as an ordering app for dinner and breakfast. 

For families

In the chalets "Black Bear" and "Silver Wolf" there is room for four or two adults and one child up to 10 years. The "Wild Moose" also accommodates larger families. If you need a baby cot, a high chair or an extra bed for a larger child, these are available on request; simply send an email before arrival. Dogs are also welcome. Food, basket and towels for four-legged family members have to be brought by yourself; a cleaning fee of € 15,-/day is applicable.

A Tip from the editorial office

Vegetarians, vegans and people with special dietary preferences or allergies should definitely make their special wishes known before arrival. This way, they can be taken into consideration when putting together the breakfast basket. Otherwise, traditional dairy products, eggs, sausage and spreads are included.
