The legendary Cannes Film Festival is taking place for the 75th time this year. Filmmakers from all over the world hope to be awarded the Palme d'Or, the festival's highest prize, at the end of the festival. In the category Un Certain Regard, Austria is represented this year by director Marie Kreutzer, whose historical drama Corsage, starring Vicky Krieps as Empress Sissi, premiered at the festival.

But the red carpet is not the only place to be seen. A popular destination for the rich and famous, Cannes has plenty of great hotspots to offer.
