From July 24 to August 20, 2023, New York City will celebrate the pleasures of the palate in a variety of ways. During Restaurant Week, 2-course lunches and 3-course dinners will be available at a fixed price. Depending on the type of restaurant, $ 30, $ 45 or $ 60 will be charged. The action takes place only every second year. In the summer of 2023, visitors will once again have the opportunity to choose from over 500 restaurants throughout the city and discover new favorite places.

This summer hotspot in New York City is i-coney! There's simply no way around it. After all, visitors have been coming here in the summer since 1829 to have some fun on the beach. We are talking about Coney Island Beach at the southern tip of Brooklyn. The arrival is congestion-free and fast via subway. On site, you then treat yourself to a snack at Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs. The eatery opened back in 1916 and is a landmark. It's not far to the New York Aquarium. If it gets too crowded here, you can also switch to the Brighton Beach next door.
Relais & Châteaux Restaurant SAGA

The Saga restaurant in the Financial District has only recently become a member of the renowned Relais & Châteaux association. But its inclusion in the noble ranks is all the more deserved. Because already the location of the restaurant is breathtaking. It's located on the 63rd and 64th floors of the Art Deco building 70 Pine Street and offers all-round views of the city. Here you dine on three large terraces and enjoy the skyline with a delicious cocktail from the SAGA bar. This year it's the proud owner of the place 34 under the best bars in the world. The kitchen is also pretty good: James Kent serves excellent food with 2 Michelin stars.

Manhattan by Sail

Actually, all summer hotspots in New York City have something to do with water. After all, only the Bronx is part of the mainland. Manhattan, Staten Island and Long Island (with Brooklyn and Queens) are surrounded by water. But you can get even closer to the cool water on a boat. Every Sunday from May to October, for example, there are tours including wine tastings on a sailing ship. More precisely: on the Shearwater, which is a handmade sailing boat from 1929. There's sightseeing to go with the wine. It goes namely past the skyline of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, Staten Island and Red Hook, Brooklyn.
