This weekend, the beach La Concha de el Castillo on Fuerteventura turns into a big music stage. Both local and international artists meet for this summer event on the Canaries, to provide not only music enjoyment. You can also dance! The headliner guarantees that no one wants to remain seated. The event organisers were able to get the Colombian band Bomba Estéreo. They will heat up the crowd with the hot rhythms of South America.

For three days, Lanzarote stands at La Famara Total in the sign of sporting excellence. In this summer event in the Canary Islands only professionals will participate. But also just to watch the mountain running event is breathtaking. It regularly brings the participants to their limits. The starting point is the village of Teguise. All the competitions start from here. Spectacular highlight: the Vertical Famara Total competition. Here, participants cover 600 meters of altitude over 5 kilometers. That means, they run at the end of the Risco de Famara almost vertically.

If you ever wanted to take a closer look at Hollywood productions in the making, this summer you have good chances to do so. Because in the widespread dune landscapes of Fuerteventura Disney produces some scenes of the next film in the Star Wars epic. In addition, another film set, the production of the series The Rings of Power take place on the Canary Islands. It's based on the successful fantasy novels of J.R.R. Tolkien. And the Teide National Park on Tenerife was chosen as the filming location. One of the more unusual summer events on the Canary Islands, but still worth seeing!
