Dark sand and gravel make up this beach. It is located about twelve kilometers east of the center of Antalya and scores with crystal clear water, comfortable sunbeds and water sports facilities. There is also plenty for children to do thanks to the playground. Just a short distance away, in Duden Park, a waterfall worth seeing pours into the sea.

36 kilometers north of Corfu Town, the landscape consists of rocks sculpted by water and wind. High cliffs almost completely enclose the bay, forming a kind of channel to the open sea. Snorkelers delight in the colorful fish and underwater caves. And those who long for eternal love should swim through the channel to the open sea with the person of their heart. Because according to legend, this seals the amore.

The beach in the south of the island is located in a nature reserve. As a visitor you relax in the middle of the beautiful nature on the Canary Islands. The bay is surrounded by high cliffs, so the beach is particularly protected from the wind. The sand is yellow and soft, a little above there are two cafes.

Very good infrastructure with showers, cabins, toilets, deckchair rental and even free WLAN are available. Those who like it quieter can retreat to the bays to the side of the main beach. And experienced swimmers head for the offshore island.

The shore consists of pebbles, but the water is all the cleaner for it. Be sure to bring your bathing shoes! Lying around here can be uncomfortable without a deck chair - but nobody wants that here. It is one of the most beautiful beaches for active vacationers. There is a wide range of entertainment possibilities. Foodies will be pleased with the many restaurants that are lined up next to each other.

 

Cavoeiro, Portugal: Cavoeiro Beach

The backdrop here is a picturesque village with white houses and fishing boats bobbing on the waves. The sea is clean and calm, the sand coarse-grained and beautiful yellow. Along the promenade are bars and restaurants with views of the sea. Boat tours allow visitors to discover the Algarve from a different perspective.

 

Sicily, Italy: Scala dei Turchi

Near the town of Realmonte on the southern coast of Sicily is the so-called "Turk's Staircase". The name of the beach comes from a 50-meter-long, towering cliff. And it shines in the finest white. The reason for this is the composition of white limestone and marl. The wind and weather have carved stair-like protrusions into the stone. So here you are bathing in front of a natural wonder.
