Location & neighborhood

The transfer from London Heathrow Airport takes about an hour by taxi. The subway takes the same amount of time; without changing trains. From the next underground station (High Holborn) it is only a few steps to the hotel. In the immediate surroundings there are not only the two shopping streets Regent Street and Oxford Street. Covent Garden with its entertainment possibilities and the British Museum are also not far away. The neighborhood of the hotel is characterized by offices and therefore quite quiet.

Rooms & suites

The Rosewood London offers 263 rooms and 45 suites. They are all spacious; however, the "Lincoln House" surpasses them all. It is over 220 square meters, has two bedrooms, a kitchen, several bathrooms and spacious living areas. But you don't have to stay in a suite to get a good night's sleep. Because without exception, all accommodations offer heavenly beds and beautiful Italian marble bathrooms. In addition to an extensive selection of pillows, guests also enjoy Nespresso machines, fluffy bathrobes, 24-hour room service and twice-daily housekeeping, including turndown service.

Food & Drinks

Breakfast and a traditional high tea are best enjoyed in the Mirror Room. Nomen est omen - here numerous mirrors provide a special ambience. Creative cocktails, cabarets in the autumn and winter months and live music attract guests to Scarfes Bar. Reminiscent of a British gentleman's club, it is a popular meeting place in the city.

Gin fans will get their money's worth at the Holborn Dining Room. It has the largest gin collection in the British metropolis. Culinary delights include modernised country classics such as pie. In winter, the courtyard outlet The Terrace is transformed into the exciting Whisky Pop-Up Bar The Macallan Manor House.

Wellness & Fitness

The Senses Spa offers a range of wonderful treatments by local therapists. The emphasis is on the healing traditions of the British. Exotic elements interweave with European influences to create a unique combination. Typical ingredients are Epsom salt from Surrey and roses. Among other things, they are used in the detoxifying body ritual. Those who want even more relaxation can combine individual treatments to create Journeys.

Guests looking for a way to work out are in the right place in the Fitness Suite. Modern equipment from Techno Gym and an experienced personal trainer provide the best conditions. Especially pleasant: the Fitness Suite is flooded with daylight.

Service & Amenities

A bit of British humour and a pinch of charm, served on a solid base of politeness and service orientation: this is how the team of Rosewood London presents itself. Always eager to offer guests an unforgettable stay, the staff is always ready. Be it to guide the guests with an umbrella through the pouring rain from the lobby to the taxi or to help them with the organisation of their sightseeing trip. Even check-in becomes a pleasant experience. Only in the Holborn Dining Room things could be speeded up a bit.

The pillowcases embroidered with guests' initials are a charming idea. The gym has fruit and loaner headphones. Valet parking is available for those arriving by car.

For families

The Rosewood London is child friendly. The little guests receive their own welcome letter at check-in. The hotel also offers some child-friendly activities with the "Rosebuds Programme". Four-legged family members are also welcome. They receive a doggie bed, welcome treats, water and food bowl, and "Pearl's Guide to London." The brochure lists dog-friendly restaurants, bars and parks in London. Of course, you're allowed to bring cats along, too. Plus: pet dogs are even allowed into restaurants.

And for guests with mobility restrictions, seven rooms and one deluxe suite are available without barriers.

A Tip from the editorial office

It's worth making reservations in advance at Scarfes Bar. Especially on weekends. As a hotel guest you always have access, but no guaranteed table. Room service and drinks from the mini-bar are included in the suites.
