Nobis Hotel Palma, Spain

Only recently opened, the Nobis Hotel Palma is located in one of the oldest buildings in the city. It's a member of Design Hotels™: Wingårdhs was responsible for the interior design, while Jordi Herrero Arquitectos and Eduardo Garcia Acuna Arquitectos were responsible for the architecture. They preserved parts of the historical building fabric. For example, you can admire stone walls and historic arches. Sophisticated details such as ceramic tiles and beautiful pendant lights bring modernity into the rooms. Local materials were used, processed by craftsmen from the surrounding area.

MATCA, Romania

Situated on a hill overlooking the mountains, the MATCA Hotel recently opened. Guests can choose between guest rooms in two traditional Transylvanian farmhouses or one of the 10 private villas. Exposed wooden beams, an earthy color palette, many materials directly from nature and the bee, which is a recurring theme throughout the hotel, ensure a cosy atmosphere. The restaurant serves dishes with ingredients from local producers. NATURA Spa and a pretty bar complete the property.

It seems that new luxury boutique hotels in 2024 will focus primarily on history: Because the 18th-century Duarte Palace in Porto will open in 2024 as the first of two new hotels under the CoolRooms Manor Hotels brand in Portugal. The symmetrical and baroque property is currently undergoing a thorough renovation. However, the company plans to reopen the former Palacio do Belmonte to travelers very soon.

Beore Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan

Sun Moon Lake is the largest alpine lake in Taiwan; the new hotel is located on its tranquil shores. The design emphasizes the breathtaking views of the mountains, with the beautiful landscape taking center stage. And yet it's not far to Taipei. Like many new luxury boutique hotels, it's a base for adventure. The surrounding nature invites you to get active. The pool, restaurant and bar make your stay just perfect.

The Vineta Hotel, Florida/USA

The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach will open in the second half of 2024. It is an extensively renovated hotel that was opened back in 1926. Its history includes the "Lido-Venice" and then "The Vineta". Both hotels. And then followed a short phase with condominiums. It then welcomed guests again as "The Chesterfield". Paris-based interior designer Tino Zervudachi has since given it a comprehensive refurbishment. When the striking light pink building reopens, it awaits guests with elegant and beautiful rooms. There will also be a pool in the inner courtyard, a bar and two restaurants. "The Vineta" is the latest masterpiece hotel in the Oetker Collection.
