A refuge for undisturbed vacations - that's what the Alpin Garden is for guests. The five-star boutique hotel under the management of Markus Hofer in Val Gardena underwent a generous restyling in 2020 and scores with charming eccentricity and 30 lovingly designed rooms.

The hotel literally promises golden moments: part of the facade shines in gleaming gold and offers a true color spectacle at sunrise and sunset. In the spa, you'll find a golden Finnish sauna, and there are also golden accents everywhere in the bar and the rooms. As a fitting contrast, the house has been embellished in the Shou Sugi Ban style, which translates as burnt wood - the wood of the facade has been carbonized to make it more durable. In the process, it takes on a black color, sometimes appearing to be copper. This combination of styles is not by chance, the skillful mixture reflects Hofer's character: eccentric, authentic, dreamy and yet straightforward. That's why the combination of gold and black runs through the entire house.

With the Adults-only Hotel, Hofer created a retreat for discerning guests who want to do without nothing on vacation and appreciate the finer things in life. The 1000 m² ART-SPA offers a variety of saunas and steam baths, relaxation rooms and an alpine water world; the indoor pool is even open around the clock for guests. Lovingly placed deco and accessories make the spa area a true oasis of luxury with breathtaking panoramic views of the Sassolungo and the Sella massif.

But art is not only an important motif in the spa area - in the Alpin Garden you'll find works of art and design elements by local artists throughout the entire house. Whether in the Artist Lounge or the Golden Bar: you feel and see the influence of art and feel like in a gallery at all times.

The gourmet hotel also knows how to score in culinary terms. Local ingredients are processed into regional-Mediterranean creations - from the tender fawn to the sweet dessert, the kitchen team pays attention to every little detail. The best wines and one or the other aperitif and digestif are served to match. A special highlight is also the breakfast in the idyllic garden, while the sun slowly kisses the surrounding peaks.
