1. Take a stroll through the UNESCO heritage site

Dalt Vila, the highest point of the old town, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Even today, stone ramparts surround the district. Charles V had these built in the 16th century. It is also worth taking a look at the Baluard de Santa Llúcia. It houses a powder magazine from the 18th century. And away from the history, Dalt Vila attracts visitors with wonderful views of the sea and the city's rooftops. Camera at the ready! Tour Tip: Free Walking Tours Ibiza.
2. go shopping

Not an insider tip, but nevertheless the Hippy Market Punta Arabi Ibiza Bucketlist, because here is every Wednesday lively hustle and bustle. At over 500 stalls, you can dress up, buy handmade jewelry and just let yourself drift. Live music and food stalls complete the offer.
3. relax at a beach club

While beginners enjoy themselves until late at night in the island's large-venue discos, more advanced players enjoy hot beats, cool drinks, delicious food and the sea at their feet in Ibiza's beach clubs. They are the place to be in summer. Ibiza has a remarkable number of them. Particularly beautiful are for example the Cotton Beach Club at Cala Tarida and Nikki Beach in Santa Eulària des Riu.
4. Party by the water

The best parties happen in – and on – the water when the countless boats leave the docks. DJs bring the vibes on the decks of luxurious yachts and catamarans, while drinks lift the mood. To cool off, just take a dip into the sea. The big organizers, such as Oceanboat, Lost in Ibiza, Cirque de la Nuit and Pukka Up, offer a range of fun activities. Tickets are best booked online in advance!
5. do water sports

From the beach club to the beach – and into the tides: whether you like to swim, sail, go for a spin in a kayak or plow through the water on a stand-up paddle board – Ibiza's crystal-clear bays call on you to get active. Equipment rentals are available on the beaches of San Antonia, Playas d'en Bossa or Santa Eulària, among other places. Diving, snorkeling and sunbathing on the beautiful beaches are on the bucket list for Ibiza as well.
6. Take a trip to Formentera

The island, also known as Ibiza's "little sister," is just a stone's throw away. Ferries connect the two islets several times a day throughout the year. On Formentera life moves at a much slower pace. For those who long for somewhat emptier beaches and national parks, the island is the place to be. The handicraft market of Sant Ferran, the market of La Savina and the lighthouses are also worth seeing.
7. discover hidden art

One of the rarer bucket list items: only few people know that the island has a lot to offer in terms of street art. However, the works of art are somewhat hidden, which is why a guided tour by locals will definitely be worth your while. Tour suppliers can be found in Sant Antoni and Ibiza Town, for example. It almost feels a bit like Stonehenge: between the beaches of Cala Tarida and Cala Codolar, 16 huge basalt stones stretch up into the sky. But these are not the remains of a past culture. They are an art installation called "Time & Space" by the Australian artist Andrew Rogers.
8. explore architectural features

In Cova de Can Marçà's case, however, nature was the only architect. The cave near the port of San Miguel enchants visitors with impressive rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites. Among the lesser-known attractions is a visit to Sa Pedrera Cave in the Cala d'Hort Nature Reserve, which is affectionately nicknamed "Atlantis" in reference to the lost underwater city. It used to be a quarry, whose remains now fill with water at high tide.
9. go on safari

Granted, it's not the "Big Five" that will jump in front of your camera lens in Ibiza. But you'll find plenty of worthy photo motifs on the Balearic island. At Ses Salines Nature Park on the southern tip of Ibiza, for example, numerous animals are waiting to be discovered. This is your chance to spot flamingos, turtles, iguanas and more. At Aquarium Cap Blanc you can get up close and personal with native animals. It's located in a cave and visitors come here to admire octopuses, rays and fish that spend their lives here in captivity.
10. Dedicate some time to yoga and wellness

Party hard, relax harder. Numerous spas and hotels with wellness programs will make any traces of last night's party disappear in the blink of an eye (if you don't blink too fast). After all, there's nothing more relaxing than an extensive massage. Except perhaps a yoga session on the beach ...
