Tradition meets extravagance in the festively lit garden, where you can cozy up with a glass of champagne or hot punch and listen to the crackling of the fireplaces. In addition to numerous relaxing activities such as swimming in the heated lakeside pool, the real MVP is the unique infinity curling rink on the jetty.

Nostalgic idyll in Carinthia

Guests are enchanted by the fairy-tale ambience of the house with its neo-Renaissance style year-round, but it's an especially perfect backdrop for a next level Advent by the lake. From the opening on November 25, 2022 until the last illumination on January 6, 2023, hotel guests have exclusive access to the 30,000-square-meter private castle garden on weekends, lit up by sparkling light installations. A grand light tunnel leads down to the festivities by the lake. The castle bar's terrace invites guests to linger by the fireplaces in cozy beach chairs as the familiar scent of Christmas delicacies fills the air.

Christmas classics meet select delicacies

Hot chestnuts, gingerbread, roasted almonds, mulled wine and punch are absolute staples in the lead-up to Christmas. Culinary treats such as champagne and caviar truffle flambé, lard bread made from Wagyu beef, smoked mini sausages and crêpes with nougat cream are equally delightful as the traditional delicacies at the punch stands.

Unforgettable moments by the lake

The fun is on when guests gather for curling on the infinity track at the jetty (under the guidance of the local curling master, of course). Posing for a photo by the Carinthian heart tree results in the perfect memento. To warm up after the numerous outdoor activities, head to the heated bath in the lake. At 28 degrees, the water is toasty and inviting. At the spa, guests are pampered with products by La Maison Valmont and Sisley Paris. Let the ultimate relaxation commence!

Guests have the choice of 2, 3 or 4 nights during Advent including:

• a 4-course dinner menu in the restaurant La Terrasse
• Seefels Advent de luxe with infinity curling rink & Carinthian heart tree (open Friday and Saturday from 3-8 p.m.; Sunday from 2-6 p.m.)
• access to the spa including the heated lakeside pool
• late check-out until 5 p.m. upon availability
