With "Chefs United - Chef Wehrle & Friends", Lake Lucerne is celebrating indulgence for the fifth time this December.

Fans of good taste should mark December 7, 2024 in red in their calendars. That's when the popular "Chefs United - Chef Wehrle & Friends" event will take place for the fifth time at Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne. Eight top chefs will gather high above Lake Lucerne to celebrate a winter foodie festival.

Masterful culinary art

When Mike Wehrle, Corporate Culinary Director of Bürgenstock Collection calls, his friends from all over the world make their way to Switzerland. They come to add another dimension to the enjoyment of Lake Lucerne. Because during the event, they create an exclusive selection of dishes. Outstanding sommeliers will ensure that the culinary delights will also find their accompaniment in liquid form. This year, Mike Wehrle will be joined by Aline Meissner-Bebrout from Restaurant Bibraud in Ulm, one of the youngest holders of a Michelin star, and Emmanuel Renaut from the well-known Flocons de Sel, a renowned 3-star chef.

Philipp Heid, also crowned with a Michelin star, devotes himself to creative regional cuisine, while Christian Scharrer from "Weissenhaus" (2 stars) is considered an artist of tasteful harmony. Matthew Marshall from the "Royal Automobile Club London" has already cooked for the Queen. He will enrich the feast of indulgence at Lake Lucerne with a delicate creation of scallops, leeks and caviar. Fans of the Bürgenstock Collection will already be familiar with Andreas Haseloh and Ludovic Douteau. And Damián Carini will take care of the sweet side of the event.

Unforgettable evening

The event begins with an atmospheric aperitif in the Lakeview Ballroom. This is followed by a live cooking show at various stations. Free-flowing champagne and wines will accompany the culinary delights. A stylish cocktail party with lounge seating and live music from the Knights Club Band rounds off the evening. The artistic director is Mike Wehrle. He'll ensure that the event combines enjoyment and convivial entertainment. Guests will have the opportunity to interact directly with the chefs. In addition to gourmets, critics from all over the world will also be present.

Guests who want to celebrate the event in style are best advised to stay overnight at Bürgenstock Resort. The exclusive Overnight Package for the "Chefs United - Chef Wehrle & Friends" experience includes an overnight stay with breakfast in one of the resort's renowned hotels; either The Heritage or The Contemporary. In addition, there are up to two tickets for the event.
