Lake and forest as a festival element

Flower arrangements, colorful garlands, folk music, marksmen in traditional costumes and good food and drink to go with it - if anyone can celebrate, it's small village communities with their many local associations. Summer festivals are also a tradition in the Tegernsee Valley. From mid-June to mid-August, the region is transformed into a cozy, colorful hotspot for everyone who loves Bavarian traditions. During this time, the communities around the lake come together in turn for forest, traditional costume and lake festivals, hosted by local ski, sports and music clubs. Guests are equally welcome as locals. In addition to music and dance, a varied program awaits visitors young and old.
