70 years of gastronomic history
The Cavallino is located just a few steps from the world-famous Ferrari factory and originally served as the company canteen. In 1950, Enzo Ferrari had the historic farmhouse remodeled, and since then it has officially borne the name Ristorante Cavallino – inviting guests to enjoy trattoria ambience and fine cuisine. Engineer Ferrari himself often sat here with numerous friends, guests and employees while the Formula 1 Grand Prix was on TV.
Over the past 70 years, the restaurant has hosted many illustrious personalities, such as Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, Princess Liliana de Réthy of Belgium, and three-time world champion driver Jackie Stewart. Of course, all the racing drivers and technicians of Team Ferrari have been guests at the Cavallino as well.

The Clock Room turns back time: guests will find photos and memorabilia of Ferrari and Formula 1 there. The dining room, with its red-ivory terracotta floors and high ceilings, makes trendy trattoria flair come to life. The oak-paneled walls are emblazoned with photo collages of Ferrari engines and yearbook images of the Scuderia.

On the way to the outdoor area, you pass through the fiery red Grill Room, on the walls of which is a system of hyper-technological, fully visible grills with live cooking. And in the summer, as the view through the arched windows reveals, guests can dine in the Mediterranean garden.

On his menu, gourmets will find fine fare such as duck breast with spices, liver pate with orange notes, escargots or crème caramel al Parmigiano Reggiano.
