Anyone who has ever been indoor or rock climbing has experienced it: the motivation to make it to the top, the feelings of happiness that arise from the combination of strength, courage and skill, the breathtaking views from the top that you have worked hard to achieve. No wonder climbing is popular and decades ahead of the e-biking trend.

A long day of climbing is physically demanding. That's why an energy-saving ascent on a powerful all-road e-bike such as the Victoria Avyon is an ideal start to a day of climbing. If you want to get to grips with the vertical, you first have to move on level ground and cover quite a few meters in altitude before reaching the foot of a climbing wall in the great outdoors. What's more, the equipment you have with you - rope, harness, shoes, carabiners and belay devices - is easier to transport on a bike.

E-bike and climb is also a trend in the Tyrolean Kaiser Mountains with their rugged peaks and beautiful nature. More and more climbers are now using e-bikes to reach the countless routes, which range from beginner to professional level. One popular route leads from Scheffau to the Multerkarwand on the Treffauer in the Westkaiser. The starting point is the baroque church in the quaint village with only 1600 inhabitants. The high-torque Bosch motor provides the necessary thrust to finish off the bikes at the Wegscheid-Hochalm at 1212 meters after 560 meters of altitude. It's only a 30-minute walk along a steep path to the foot of the Multerkarwand. Once at the top, both beginners and experienced climbers will find what they are looking for. Multi-pitch sport climbing routes are also possible on the right-hand side of the wall. No matter which of the 15 to 45-metre-long routes you choose, they all lead high up over grippy water grooves in the limestone. You'll be rewarded with fantastic views over the Tux Alps.

After many hours on the rock, your muscles are tired and the day is coming to an end.
