He describes himself as nature-loving, quality-oriented, communicative, sporty and family-oriented. For him, standing still is unbearable. We are talking about Matthäus von Thun Hohenstein - Matteo Thun for short. The Italian architect and designer loves to visualise new ideas. Modesty and health are important to him. The creative Italian gets inspiration on many levels - during yoga in the morning or while travelling.
Capri, Italy
My favorite destination in southern Italy is the Mediterranean island of Capri - it's my second home in the summer and means nature, water and horizon to me. Our house there is only within walking distance and I enjoy the morning hikes to the top of Monte Solaro. The view of the sea compensates for every effort. But you can also reach Monte Solaro from Anacapri by chairlift. But the time on the island is only really perfect when I have my family and friends around me and we take a walk together in the early evening on the "Sentiero dei Fortini" - it leads from the Grotta Azzura to the Faro. Our favourite thing to do at home is to eat the fresh vegetables and herbs from our garden. To go out for dinner is also the restaurant "Le Grottelle"near the Arco Naturale - with Capri cuisine and a wonderful view. And once every Capri visitor should drink an aperitivo on the Piazzetta - best in the Bar Tiberio. Nightlife on Capri means either romantic walks or of course the legendary restaurant "Anema e Core". At home the day ends then with us with Verveine tea.

Mozart and Vivaldi - for me there is hardly any other music.

In the evening a Campari on the Piazzetta in the Bar Tiberio drink.

With the same rock as the Dolomites and with the indomitable Caprese, Capri has become a second home for me.
