Chalet Ormello
The most extensive wooden house in Trios Vallées
Moon boots off and into the comfort of the "Chalet Ormello" in Courchevel 1850! The cosy fireplace is already waiting in the lounge-like living room of the 1000 square metre wooden house. What makes the "Ormello" so cosy? Not least the elegant alpine style with warm colours, cosy furniture and noble materials. In addition, the house hides, among other things, a cinema, a perfectly equipped playroom for the children and a spacious private spa including waterfall pool and outdoor hot tub. The panoramic views of the French mountains from the various balconies are unbeatable. Although the town centre is a two-minute walk away, the chalet is wonderfully quiet and just steps from the slopes. Two suites and seven rooms await up to 15 guests, for whom there is also a first-class, discreet and very personal service: a private chef, a concierge and a housekeeping team. Price: Per day from approx. € 18,500.

Hygna Chalets
The hidden huts in the Alpbach Valley
Opening in December 2021, these eleven traditionally built chalets are the latest addition to luxury alpine hideaways. Here, on a Tyrolean sunny plateau in the nowhere of the pristine Alpbach Valley, nothing blocks the view of the mountains, plus idyllic tranquillity reigns. This makes the temporary home a shelter full of cosy comforts and a lot of security. At breakfast, for example, which is delivered to the chalet door, regional dishes are mixed with influences from further afield, so that bowls and porridge also find their place here. The chalets are decorated in natural tones and feature saunas, fireplaces, bathtubs in the bedrooms, beds with massage functions and, in some cases, private whirlpools. The Heustadl infinity pool offers an impressive view of the surrounding peaks, and there are also fitness and yoga sessions with junior host Sarah Moser. Mindfulness is especially close to her heart. Chalet for two people per night from € 432.

Les Chalets Du Mont D'Arbois
The historic chalets in France
A century ago, Noémie de Rothschild established a new ski resort on the slopes of the Val d'Isère: Megève. Her son Baron Edmond made it a legend in the 1960s. The clan's storied former residences recently became a five-star hotel, consisting of three elegant chalets with 41 spacious rooms and suites. The main chalet "Ève" houses the restaurant "Prima"; Chef de Cusine Nicolas Hensinger has been awarded a Michelin star - the team also takes care of the excellent breakfast! All around, lots of old wood, rough stone and alpine fabrics, as well as the hotel's own ice skating rink and a pack of sled dogs, make the classic winter fairy tale a reality. Incidentally, the "Alice" chalet (including private massage rooms and hamam) can become a private home base for 22 people. If you're looking for something really special, take the "Suite Idéal" with three rooms - on the 1850-metre summit of Mont d'Arbois. Double room per night from € 675.

Chalet Eugenia
The stately home in Graubünden
Where the British royals used to spend their winter holidays, tradition is being taken to a new level: The 1400 completely renovated square metres overlooking Klosters are probably the most luxurious the Alps have to offer. The antique furnishings are warm and cosy, each of the eight rooms under huge oak beams shines in a different noble colour and always harbours a crackling fire in winter. The crowning glory is the 100-square-foot bedroom in gold complete with freestanding bathtub. Plus: a real wood-burning stove for indoor barbecues, a large dining table for up to 20; plus a grand piano, wine cellar, beginner's ski lift (to keep the kids in view from one of the many balconies) and a grand, modern 300-square-foot spa. Almost self-evident is the almost invisible professional service - including professional chef, chauffeur and housekeeping - which ensures that the stay is of the highest standard. Price on request.

Chalet Mimi
The extraordinary at the Arlberg
What a skilful mixture! Between the puristic-modern furniture made of high-quality, mostly local materials, the farmhouse wardrobe, the mint-coloured tiled stove, the inn chairs and the many other small alpine details look great. In addition, cosy corners everywhere tempt you to relax: the large sofa in front of the open fireplace, the seating niche in the bookcase, the bunk beds in the children's room, the soft loungers in the spa (including a 14-metre pool and cinema screen!) - and of course the outdoor whirlpool with a view of the snowy peaks. It goes without saying that ski-in, ski-out is also possible here; directly onto the Schlosskopf piste. In the six rooms, up to 14 guests can enjoy individual service including 24/7 butler, chauffeur, concierge and in-house chef. Per night from € 9800.
