Cala Jondal is popular with locals, tourists and celebrities alike. And for good reason: the beach is particularly charming with glistening turquoise waters, yachts rocking quietly on the waves, quaint reed parasols and ultra-chic bars. Must-do: in addition to a detour to the famous Blue Marlin, a visit to the Jondal Beach Club is especially worthwhile.

Cala Carbo

The southwest of the island beckons with the idyllic Cala Carbo, a small pebble and sandy beach bay with crystal clear waters. The Cala is well hidden between small hills and fragrant pine forests where you can relax in peace together with the locals. Sun beds and umbrellas can be rented. There's a small restaurant nearby as well if you get peckish in between beach reads.
Atlantis / Sa Pedrera

This rocky beach lives up to its name: Sa Pedrera got its nickname from the legendary city of Atlantis. That name becomes quite obvious once you take a look around: the hidden bay boasts geometric rock formations and patterns carved into stone, reminiscent of times gone by. Swimmers can dive right into the sea, but can also take a dip in artificial pools. By the way, the bay can only be reached on foot, so prepared for the climb!
Cala Pada

Cala Pada is ideal for families: there's a fine sandy beach ideal for building sandcastles and a a wooden jetty that leads right into the water. In addition to the usual facilities – including umbrellas, sun beds, restrooms, restaurants and boutiques – Cala Pada also offers an abundance of activities. Whether pedal boating or diving, catamaran sailing or kayaking is more your speed, there's not a dull moment at this stunning beach.
Ses Salinas

This is where hedonistic spirits gather to spend their days in Ibiza, sun-kissed and with champagne flutes in hand. If you're in the mood to party and dance, Ses Salinas is the place to be. There are clubs and culinary hotspots all over the place. But the beach is a hotspot in its own right: dip your toes in the fine, soft sand, dive into the almost translucent water and enjoy the bubbly atmosphere. This is Ibiza at its finest!
Es Portitxol

Tired of partying? Head to Portitxol: located in the midst of green pine trees, between towering rock faces and formations, the bay is the ideal destination for hiking enthusiasts. The way there leads along a cliff – including unbeatable views. Once you've reached the bottom, you can relax on loungers and under umbrellas or treat yourself to a cool drink at the café.
Cala d'Hort

The sight of Es Vedrà, Ibiza's iconic rocky island that's just a stone's throw away from the mainland is worth a visit to Cala d'Hort alone. The cove also scores points for its partly sandy and partly pebbly ground, cozy loungers, and a beach boutique. By the way, the sunset is best enjoyed from the restaurant on the cliff.
